This Alumni Award is presented to the graduate who, over their secondary school career, has been actively involved in a wide range of school and community leadership activities, while maintaining a high academic standard. The award winner must be accepted into and attend to go to a Canadian university in the fall.
The Port Credit Alumni Association is pleased to announce that the 2014 recipient of our $750 award for a student going on to University is Molly Cowls.
In addition to her excellent marks, Molly has demonstrated her leadership in the Regional Strings Program, and has spent many volunteer hours with the St. Andrews Memorial Presbyterian Church and the Free the Children program in Ecuador.
Molly says that she wants to be remembered at PCSS as the student who welcomed new students into PCSS and made them feel welcomed at PCSS. Going forward, Molly’s ambition is to improve health care in the developing world.
The Alumni Association wishes Molly all the best in her future endeavours. We know that Molly will represent PCSS well.
